At Project Response, we believe prevention is the key to a healthier community. Our clinic offers a range of services designed to help you take control of your health and stay ahead of potential risks:
We provide free rapid testing for HIV and hepatitis C, ensuring you get accurate results quickly and discreetly, typically within 15 minutes.
We also offer comprehensive STI/STD testing, including syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas and mycoplasma genitalium via a blood and urine panel. Testing is provided for a $75 fee, and an appointment is required. Results may take up to a week to receive.
In most cases, services are provided regardless of your ability to pay. See our patient information section below for details on programs that can help offset most or all costs.
If you’ve had a recent exposure to HIV, this is a medical emergency. Patients need to call the clinic immediately. PEP is a time-sensitive treatment that can prevent infection if started within 72 hours.
We will provide information and directions to receive treatment to prevent the acquiring of HIV. Do not delay in contacting us if you think you have been exposed.
PrEP is a daily medication that, when taken correctly, has a 90% chance of preventing HIV transmission. If you’re HIV-negative and consider yourself at risk, our team can help you determine if PrEP is right for you. To receive PrEP, book an initial consultation with our team.
Regular follow-up care, including lab testing and counseling, ensures you stay protected and informed.
Our team offers judgment-free, one-on-one counseling to help you understand your risks and make informed decisions about your health.
Through community outreach programs, we also provide educational presentations to raise awareness about HIV, hepatitis C, and STI/STD prevention.

Our clinic is one of the few in Brevard County offering specialized care for infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS treatment, hepatitis C management, syphilis, and more. We also help patients manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.
With our “Test and Treat” approach, patients diagnosed with HIV can begin therapy immediately. Early treatment reduces transmission risks, strengthens the immune system, and improves overall health outcomes.
Newly HIV-diagnosed patients are connected with case management services to ensure they receive the necessary support for treatment and ongoing care. Our experienced medical team works closely with individuals to provide timely and effective care, helping them navigate their health journey.
Peer support offers encouragement from those with shared experiences, creating a sense of community and understanding. This support system helps patients navigate their diagnosis, stay engaged in care, and improve long-term health outcomes.
Residents of Brevard County can access our expert primary care and infectious disease treatment through convenient telemedicine services. Whether it’s follow-up consultations, medication management, or guidance on your health journey, our telehealth services ensure you stay connected and supported.
At Project Response, we believe high-quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.
Your health is our priority, and we are here to help you navigate the financial aspects of your care with compassion and discretion.
Our clinic accepts most major insurance coverage. Prospective patients will need to provide proof of insurance and a photo ID for your visit.
HIV treatment can typically be provided through your insurance coverage. However, if you do NOT have insurance, HIV treatment will be covered under the Ryan White Program or the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. Hepatitis C treatment may be covered through a Patient Assistance Program offered by the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer. In most cases there is little to no cost for patients with HIV and/or Hepatitis C that do not have insurance coverage.
Some treatments can be costly, especially for those with a low- or no-income status. If you cannot afford the prescription drug, you may be eligible for Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) offered by pharmaceutical companies.
To qualify, you will need to complete an application with the drug company with information about your financial situation. Forms are typically found on the companies’ websites. As an alternative, the clinic can assist you with the process. Your doctor or treatment team will submit the application, your prescription information, and other supporting documentation needed to
the pharmaceutical company. The drug company will review the application and determine whether you qualify for assistance.
Our clinic isn’t just about treating symptoms-it’s about treating the whole person. From prevention and treatment to social support and resources, we are committed to providing the compassionate, comprehensive care you deserve.
