Project Response is a compassionate Healthcare Organization dedicated to serve our diverse community through respect and empathy as together we eliminate HIV in our community.
Each year Project Response help hundreds of clients with emergency financial assistance. We aid with vision care and eyeglasses, dental care, car and home repairs, basic furnishings and appliances, and rent and utility expenses that many are unable to afford and cannot be paid through our other programs.
Some of the clients we assist have fixed incomes below the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and yet, others have no income at all. For clients in these circumstances, there is no “rolling with the punches” when faced with unexpected expenses. Any extra burden is a crisis.
Education and Testing
On average, each year, Project Response provides FREE prevention education to approximately 2,200 teens and adults and approximately 1,200 rapid HIV tests to teens and adults in the Space and Treasure Coast areas.
With the opening of our clinic in October 2017, we are providing testing and treatment for HIV and other related sexually transmitted infections, including Hepatitis C, for the community. Our clinic also provides HIV prevetnion treatment, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
