Free HIV Testing

Project response is providing FREE HIV rapid tests from 11:00 am to 3:00 PM at Empire Health Mart Pharmacy (EHMP).  EHMP is located in a stand-alone building in the Winn-Dixie plaza at 1451 Dixon Boulevard, Cocoa, Florida 32922 (southeast corner of Dixon Boulevard and Clearlake Road).

Rapid Testing

Most importantly, the test only takes 15 MINUTES and you will receive your results then.  Tests are administered by certified staff who provide pre and post-test counseling.  They are certified by the Florida Department of Health.  Because of their qualifications they are able to answer any of your questions regarding HIV and other related issues.  Not only will they will provide information on how to prevent HIV infection, but other options available to you.  Those options can include behavioral changes, medications and/or free and over the counter products (OTC)  safer-sex products.

The testing procedure and information is kept CONFIDENTIAL and in compliance with Federal, State and local laws.  Because of that mandate, testing takes place in a private room.

Empire Health Mart Pharmacy

Empire Health Mart Pharmacy has been a mainstay in the Cocoa community.  EHMP supports various local non-profit agencies and provides low cost pharmacy products.  It has also been a strong supporter of Project Response, Inc. in expanding our testing program into the Cocoa and surrounding areas.
